You will require an initial test patch in the area to determine the suitability of your skin type and the number and frequency of anticipated treatment cycles also will be discussed with you. If you choose to proceed with the treatment then you should expect each treatment session to take between 10-45 minutes depending upon the area being treated. It will be necessary to shave the area prior to each session. Whilst you can continue to shave between treatments it is important that you do not wax or pluck the area.

As the treatment is non-invasive and painless, the recovery is immediate, although the treated area may be a little red for a few hours afterwards. You will be offered a moisturiser to use on the area by your therapist.

You should avoid exposure to extremes of heat (such as sauna, sunbed or direct sun exposure) for 24-48 hours after each treatment.
