Photo acoustic shockwaves are delivered to the target area through high laser intensities in nanosecond pulses, creating controlled dermal wounds. This mechanical Q-Switched effect breaks up the melanin in the pigmented lesions while keeping the epidermis intact. As the area heals, the immune system flushes away the damaged pigmented cells and reveals lighter, unblemished skin.

We recommend undertaking between 3-6 treatments dependant on the severity of the condition.
Whilst a slight discomfort may be felt this is a quick and effective treatment.
There may be some heat and redness in the area, the pigmentation will become darker and form slight scabbing however, this is a normal side effect of the treatment and will settle within days.
